The Groups Macro tab is used to assign macros to a group of users. Macros are script used for performing routine tasks, allowing the operator to save redundant typing. The macro files are saved with a .zmc extension.
Macros are used in the local, system, and group environments:
3270 Display
Macros to use with 3270 terminal emulation.
5250 Display
Macros to use with 5250 terminal emulation.
VT Display
Macros to use with VT and SCO-ANSI terminal emulation.
Wyse Display
Macros to use with Wyse-60 terminal emulation.
New
Creates new macros for your existing groups.
Add
Adds existing macros to use with existing groups.
Edit
Edits a macro you previously created.
Copy
Copies the selected macro file name to the Windows clip board.
Paste
Pastes a file name from the Windows clip board into the macro file list.
Delete
Deletes the selected macro.
Rename
Renames the selected macro. You must then type in the new name of the macro.
