Alt + C, A key sequence
The Communication > Cancel menu command causes FTP to cancel the pending command. This command will terminate the current file transfer, whether you are receiving or sending, or it can terminate the connection when PASSPORT is in the process of logging into the remote computer.
Note: If this command terminates the transfer midstream, the portion of the file already transferred remains in the receiving directory.
