The Firewall tab is one of the tabs in the Communication Setup property sheet. This tab enables you to enter information about the firewall through which you are communicating.
Use Firewall
Select this check box to enable the following fields for entering information
about the firewall.
Type
Select the type of firewall from the drop-down list. "SITE hostname"
is the default.
Host Name
Enter the name of the firewall.
Port
Enter the port number for the firewall.
Username
Enter your user name to gain access through the firewall.
Password
Enter your password on the firewall.
OK
The OK button is available only
if you opened the Communication Setup dialog box using the Communication>Setup
menu command. Clicking this button saves the host profile information
you have entered, adds the profile to the list using the name you have
entered in the Profile Name field
of the Add FTP Host dialog box,
and closes the Communication Setup
dialog box.
Connect
The Connect button is enabled only
if there is no active FTP connection. This Connect button has two functions:
When you select a host profile from the list, clicking this button starts the connection process.
When you add a new host profile, clicking this button adds the new profile to the list and also starts the connection process.
Cancel
The Cancel button discards any
entries you have made on any of the three tabs and closes the Communication
Setup dialog box.
Help
The Help button displays this help
screen.
