Edit > Cut

The Edit > Cut menu command cuts the selection and places it on the clipboard.

Note: This command only applies to files located on the local PC.

The Edit > Cut command function can be duplicated by the following:

• toolbar button

• Right-click, then click Cut

• Alt + E, T key sequence

• Ctrl + X short cut key
