The Transfer > Receive menu command begins the process of transferring the selected host folders or files to a selected location on the local computer. While the transfer is in progress, the File Transfer Status - Receiving dialog box appears to keep you updated.
The Transfer > Receive command function can be duplicated by the following:

Note: the last four file transfers are maintained in a list on the Transfer menu. This is handy for frequently used file transfers.
