Emulation Type
Five different terminal emulation types are supported.

• TN3270

• TN5250

• VT

• SCO ANSI

• Wyse

Select TN3270 to connect to an IBM zSeries (S/390) mainframe computer. Select TN5250 to connect to an IBM iSeries (AS/400) midrange computer system. Select either VT, SCO ANSI or Wyse to connect to a UNIX host system.

Session Type
Two different session types are supported.

• Display Session

• Printer Session

For TN3270 and TN5250 emulation types either a display or printer session type may be configured. A display session is used to emulate a mainframe display terminal. A printer session is used to emulate a mainframe attached printer.

For VT, SCO ANSI and Wyse emulation types only a display session type may be configured.
