Explanation: Failed to spool the document for printing.

User response:
  • Ensure that you have a printer properly installed and configured. To install a printer:
    1. Open the Windows Control Panel, and click Devices and Printers.
    2. Click Add Printer.
    3. Follow the wizard to install a printer.

    1. Open the Windows Control Panel, and click Devices and Printers.
    2. Right-click your printer.
    3. Select Resume Printing or Use Printer Online if either option displays in the menu.
  • When you print, information is typically written to a file on your hard disk before it is sent to the printer. This process is named print spooling. With print spooling you can continue to use your programs while the document prints. Print spooling is typically faster than printing directly to your printer. However, if you are low on disk attempts to spool documents may result in the error above. To check or change your spooler settings, follow these steps:
    1. Open the Windows Control Panel, and click Devices and Printers.
    2. Double-click the printer that you are trying to use. The print queue for that printer opens.
    3. If any documents appear in the print queue, click Print > Cancel All Documents.
    4. Click OK.
    5. Right-click the printer that you want to use, and then click Properties.
    6. Click the Advanced tab. If the Spool print documents so program finishes printing faster option is selected, print spooling is turned on. If the Print directly to the printer option is selected, print spooling is turned off, and you are printing directly to the printer.
    7. To change the setting, click one of the options that are listed in step 9. If you are printing to a network printer, you might not be able to change your spooler settings.
    8. Note: With print spooling turned off, you must wait for your file to finish printing before you can perform other tasks in the program that you are printing from.

HTTP request: Failed with error code = <errorcode>
Explanation: The HTTP request has failed with the error code provided. 4xx errors are client errors and 5xx errors are server errors.

User response: Possible errors codes include:
  • Bad request 400: The request had bad syntax or was inherently impossible to be satisfied.
  • Unauthorized 401: The parameter to this message gives a specification of authorization schemes which are acceptable. The client should retry the request with a suitable Authorization header.
  • Payment Required 402: The parameter to this message gives a specification of charging schemes acceptable. The client may retry the request with a suitable ChargeTo header.
  • Forbidden 403: The request is for something forbidden. Authorization will not help.
  • Not found 404: The server has not found anything matching the URI given
  • Internal Error 500: The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
  • Not implemented 501: The server does not support the facility required.
  • Service temporarily overloaded 502: The server cannot process the request due to a high load (whether HTTP servicing or other requests). The implication is that this is a temporary condition which maybe alleviated at other times.
  • Gateway time out 503: This is equivalent to Internal Error 500, but in the case of a server which is in turn accessing some other service, this indicates that the response from the other service did not return within a time that the gateway was prepared to wait. As from the point of view of the client and the HTTP transaction the other service is hidden within the server, this maybe treated identically to Internal error 500, but has more diagnostic value.
