Using the Toolbar

You can invoke PASSPORT commands by clicking buttons on the toolbar. Toolbars can be shown or hidden, and can be customized. Custom toolbars are stored as files with .ztb extensions. Toolbar settings are stored in the session profile, although toolbar files are available for use in any session. 

To show or hide the toolbar

To create a custom toolbar

  1. Use the Options>Toolbar menu command.

  2. Click the Customize... button and the Customize Toolbar dialog box will appear.

  3. Click the Add... button to add a toolbar button. The Toolbar Button Properties dialog box will appear.

  4. Select an icon to be used for the toolbar button, or click on the Browse... button to import a custom bit-map (.bmp) file.

  5. Enter the text which, if enabled, is shown under the toolbar icon.

  6. Enter tooltip text which is shown when the mouse placed is on top of the button.

  7. Click on the Action tab.

  8. Select the Action Category and then select an Item within the category to be mapped to this toolbar button. Click the OK button.

  9. Repeat steps 3 though 8 as many times as necessary.

  10. Use the Edit..., Separator, Remove, Up and Down buttons to make any adjustments.

  11. When you are finished click the Save button to save and exit.

  12. Enter a name for your custom toolbar file and press the Save button.

  13. The name of your custom toolbar file will appear in the Custom Toolbar Filename area to let you know which custom toolbar is currently being used.

  14. Set the Size of the toolbar buttons to be either small or large.

  15. Enable or disable the Show Button Text.

  16. Enable or disable the Show Tool Tips.

  17. Click the OK button to exit.
